My Website Is Offline
If your website is not loading, here are the most common causes and fixes.
Step 1: Check If It Is Just You
Visit downforeveryoneorjustme.com and enter your domain. This confirms if the issue is global or only on your device.
Step 2: Check DNS Propagation
If you recently updated nameservers, your domain may still be propagating. Check status at dnschecker.org.
Step 3: Check Your Hosting Account Status
- Log into your Hostiviq dashboard
- Go to My Hosting
- Check if your plan shows as Active
- If it shows Suspended, your renewal payment may be overdue
Step 4: Clear Your Cache
Try a hard refresh: Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac). Also try opening an incognito/private browser window.
Step 5: Check for Error Messages
- 500 Internal Server Error — PHP error or corrupted .htaccess. Check cPanel error logs.
- 404 Not Found — File not found. Check that index.php or index.html exists in public_html.
- 403 Forbidden — Permissions issue. Set file permissions to 644 and folders to 755.
- Connection Timed Out — Server overloaded or firewall issue. Contact support.
